The port of Burgas was visited by an official delegation from China. Ivan Kapitanov-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Dian Dimov-CEO met with the foreign guests.
The visitors from China are interested in the work of the Centre for promotion the cooperation in agriculture between China and the countries in Central and Eastern Europe at the Bulgarian Ministry of agriculture and food. Promoting the cooperation , trading with agricultural products, foods and beverages as well as exchange of experience and partnership between the 16 CEE countries and China are among the main aspirations of the Centre.
Dian Dimov – CEO of port Burgas presented the port activity, the capacity for handling, the conditions in open and closed storage areas. The delegation visited the new coastal management center of shipping –one of the most modern equipment for vessel traffic management in Europe. The guests said they are considering opening a logistic hub and warehouses under customs regime for trading with various goods in Burgas.
